The International Women's Club of Barcelona is a multinational network open for all English-speaking women.

Our aim is to provide a welcome environment, to establish friendships, enhance knowledge, and offer support when needed. The IWCB has been a successful voluntary organisation in Barcelona for nearly 60 years.

Each month we host a variety of special events, and regular activities, both in the Casa Orlandai and at other venues around the city and wider Catalunya, are held on a weekly basis.

Our open-house coffee morning is held every Wednesday at the Casa Orlandai in the Sala Foix from 11:00 – 13:00 and this is the first point of contact for many new members.  On the fourth Wednesday of the month we hold a “kilo” coffee morning, where members bring along foodstuffs to be donated to one of the charities we support, Assis Centre D’Acollida.  Each month, every second Wednesday, we host a talk instead of a coffee morning. In these sessions a variety of invited speakers give accessible informal talks on subjects of interest to members.  Our Library, on the second floor of Casa Orlandai, is free to all members and open on Wednesdays from 12:30 - 13:30 for our exclusive use.

Our members receive by email or by ordinary post an informative monthly bulletin with news on club events and organized visits.
